        WE CAN ONLY HOPE

        If only the new CR-V had the venerable and super reliable 2.4 liter engine! The 1.5 Turbo engine WILL require longer cool down and warm up times, more frequent oil changes, spark plug changes, etc. Major and very expensive components of this turbo engine HAVE failed at between 40,000 and 70,000 miles. So... you may be able to make it to the end of the warranty period. After that, I wish y'all the best. I've been a Honda fan for almost 40 years now. Trust me, I am sad to see Honda use a small displacement turbo engine in a roughly 3,525 lb. vehicle. I know a few other automakers are doing the same thing. But Honda used to be BETTER than the rest. In some ways, they still are. And I remain a Fan of Honda, still. ALL buyers, do your homework and decide for yourself.         Pretty darn nice.

        Got my crv new, and loved it ever since. It's been on 3 trips out west from the Ohio Valley region, and has been driven through deserts and mountains with nary a problem. Took it to the Gulf Coast, performed like a champ. What I really like about it is the leg room. Being 6'5" I've always had to sandwich myself into many car types, with limited leg room. But the crv has a spot around the steering wheel shaft that I can straighten my legs into. On a long trip that's awesome 👍. Gonna keep it awhile for sure.…

        Great vehicle and smooth!

        I really enjoy driving the SUV. It’s very smooth and it has just enough power to keep you interested with the 1.5L Turbo. The interior in very nice and I like that it has separate controls for climate control. You have choices when you drive. Economy mode for gas savings, Normal mode is used very little for me. Snow mode it handles awesome! I do have the AWD. And when you want a fun drive, pop it in Sport mode and it wakes up a little and is super fun! I love the car but the electronics are outdated. I’m getting around 30-33 mpg on the highway with it. I’ve driven Fords my whole life and I wanted to try something different. You just have to remember with any car, maintenance is the key. Drive it like you own it and not like you stole it! It will be good to you! I have it 4 stars just because of the outdated infotainment system. I can’t give you a better review on reliability as I don’t do a whole lot of driving. I’ve owned this 6 months now, but I always love driving it, I find it fun.…
